The Lazy Genius Way is one of my all-time favorite time management books. I try to re-read this book every year. Kendra does an amazing job of combining tips for maximizing the use of your time along with permission to live life according to your own passions and priorities. The premise behind this book is that we should be a genius about what matters and lazy about what doesn’t…and you get to decide what falls into each of those categories! Being the most productive person ever doesn’t mean much if you are constantly stressed. Richard Carlson’s book, Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff…and It’s All Small Stuff, was a game-changer for me. Filled with short chapters each containing a tip on how to live life more intentionally, this book will challenge you to live more effectively in line with what matters most to you. Tranquility by Tuesday by Laura Vanderkam
In Tranquility by Tuesday, Laura Vanderkam shares nine strategies for crafting a life that is not just productive, but is also fulfilling. Each chapter goes over one of the nine tips and contains insights from a trial group that implemented the concept. Laura also includes specific action steps you can take to put each strategy into action. I found reading through the book to be really helpful and useful in spite of not following the action steps precisely as instructed. 🙂
